Road ready
Here’s a picture of the Sea Ranger on top of the car, ready for the road trip and triple launching at Canyon Lake NW of New Braunfels TX on Friday. We will be taking a bunch of pictures on this one. Just hope we have a bit of decent weather.

Wow! Looks great, Tony! And it took you how long? Two months? I am really inspired. I can’t wait to hear how she paddles.

I lofted the forms quite a while before I started stripping the boat, but the first strip was put on May 12th. The simple deck design really helpted to speed the stripping. I think I could have shortened the build another few days because of other things I had going on. I was working on a friends house about 3 days a week, and didn’t do much on the kayak those days.
I’m getting anxious to put it in the water. Should be a fun little boat. I’ve been calling it “Skinny Minnie.”
