I have built a Sea Flea in ‘07 and she’s outgrown it now.. back to build a bigger kayak and a spare for friends to go along if needed.
I love building the kayaks… I am totally hooked!!!
I’ll be looking forward to building many more to come!

Thanks for the encouragement… and yes, I may just be back if I “get stuck”..

Hi Heather!

Good to see the interest and a mother daughter build. Both Anton and I used the Yost offsets from the internet. Tom uses decimal feet, so .5 would be 6 inches. 0.745 = 8 15/16″ Another great spot to keep a watch on is the Kayak Forum, (link to the right..) when there, click on kayak building. Tom Yost frequents that forum quite often and you can probably get some info direct from him. You will see all kinds of building going on there. Hello, My name is Heather.
I am a single mom of my daughter Lilly.
We built Tom Yost’s Sea Flea together in 2007 and now we are back to build the Sea Pup.
I am in this adventure myself with no one to help me so I am looking around for a little help.
I am needing help withe the conversion from Tom’s offsets converted to something I can understand. Preferebly in inches?
Would you by chance still have the plans from when you built the SeaPup?
I would be quite tickled to hear from you!
