We then moved to a farm halfway between Dike and Hudson on the Co. line. My brother lices about 5 miles south of NH now. New Hartford has some pretty good kayaking on the Cedar. We have been short of rain north of here and the Shell Rock is sort of low right now. Susan and I are going to try a Labor day (tomarrow) trip down the Shell Rock any way. Are you from the NH area? If so I bet that you really love the winter down there. I live in Iowa and would have loved for you to drop by and have a beer if you were anywhere near, and perhapse paddle together. I live in Marble Rock which is up near Mason City. It is a small town, but is on the Shell Rock River and has some good small river paddleing. If ever you get up this way again let me know.
