From start of school to 4th grade, I lived 3Miles west and about 5 miles north of NH. We then moved to a farm halfway between Dike and Hudson on the Co. line. My brother lices about 5 miles south of NH now.

Don't forget to dodge some of that snow and come on down here for some paddling..

Tony, I guess that you were close, about 35-40 miles. New Hartford has some pretty good kayaking on the Cedar. We have been short of rain north of here and the Shell Rock is sort of low right now. Susan and I are going to try a Labor day (tomarrow) trip down the Shell Rock any way. Are you from the NH area? If so I bet that you really love the winter down there. Say "HI" to Kurt, even though he dosen't know me any more than you do, although the KBBB is sort of an informal family. Happy Paddling. JR

Hey Tony: I have been a bit lax in monitoring the KBBB in the last couple of weeks and wasn't aware that you were coming to Iowa. I live in Iowa and would have loved for you to drop by and have a beer if you were anywhere near, and perhapse paddle together. I live in Marble Rock which is up near Mason City. It is a small town, but is on the Shell Rock River and has some good small river paddleing. If ever you get up this way again let me know. I am the Mayor of Marble Rock, but despite that we could have a welcome for you. JR
