I found yours, and was pleasantly suprised to see the picture of your great looking kayak, and equally suprised to see a picture of it on your Element. Small world for such things, because I have a very special custom painted Element. While my present three kayaks are rather mundane, I am looking at the Cheaspeake Kayak kit and may just undertake that project this year. By the way I just turned 73 years young and I am still going/paddling strong. I enjoyed your blog.
