Wood Turning
Howdy!
I’ve been giving my new lathe a workout lately. It’s a Jet 1642, and I highly recommend this product. Here is a bowl that I turned from “Live Oak” killed by hurricane Ike. Wood borers have added their artistic touch in the last 2 years while the tree remained standing but dead.

Tony, I saw an article in the islander Magazine in July.. R u the same Tony? My oldest son Just passed the Texas Bar Exam and I would like to inquire about getting 3 wooden frames to display his diplomas in his office. He was married in Galveston several years ago and he and his wife have a special place in their hearts for the town. Is this a job that you would consider?… using either drift wood or like your bowl, wood from Ike damages trees.. Thanks for your consideration… Tim Monaghan tforbesm56@yahoo.com
